Jiu-Jitsu Is For Everyone from Beginner to Advanced
Youth Jiu-Jitsu
Our Gi and Nogi Youth Program is for students as young as 5 years old and extends to 13 years old. Students in the Youth Program have one job, and that is to HAVE FUN! While it is true there is a lot to cover and learn, Team Alpha BJJ-Fairfield, aims to provide a safe and friendly environment for all of our students. The most important part of our coaches’ job is to ensure that our students are having fun and enjoying their class while learning crucial self-defense techniques and skills. The importance of learning the fundamentals of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu will be a staple of the program.
Adult Jiu-Jitsu
Our Gi and Nogi Adults Program starts at 14 years old. These classes will challenge you mentally and physically, whether you transition from our Youth Program or begin as a brand new student. As a member of our Adult Jiu-Jitsu Program, you can expect to be part of a diverse family, with all kinds of backgrounds and goals. Be rest assured, everyone will be willing to help and support you along the way. With multiple local black belt instructors that are part of the Team Alpha BJJ family, there will always be something new to learn!
Women's Only Jiu-Jitsu
Our Women's Only Program starts at 14 years old. This class will be taught similarly to our traditional Adult Jiu-Jitsu Program but is designed for just women. This is perfect for women who may be new to Jiu-Jitsu and want a slower transition in joining the Adult Jiu-Jitsu Program or for women who already train Jiu-Jitsu with us and want to train with just the ladies. This class is available to all women within our team!
Fundamentals Jiu-Jitsu
Our Adult fundamentals Program is great for the student new to Jiu-Jitsu, or the seasoned Jiu-Jitsu practitioner. Understanding fundamentals will put you in a position to defend against submissions, transitions, and sweeps. With this understanding of fundamentals, you can put yourself in positions where you are able to attack your opponent with submissions.
